We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our busy Group Marketing Team. Based in Clifton, Bristol and reporting to the Group Marketing Manager, the Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for the marketing of Acorn’s award-winning developments.

With developments in London and across the South West of England and South Wales, the Group Marketing Team work with the five regional offices on all developments.

Ambitious and passionate about marketing with a keen attention to detail, you will be responsible for implementing multi-platform strategies and initiatives working closely with Acorn’s in-house sales teams as well as estate agency partners.

The position’s key responsibilities include:

  • Creating engaging written content for multi-channel campaigns including website, social media, brochures and email
  • Responsible for lead generation of allocated sites
  • Deliver high quality web content. Ensuring Acorn website, agents’ listings and property portals are correct, up to date and refreshed. Conduct regular audits and implement findings
  • Review wider sections of website on a monthly basis to ensure content is relevant and engaging. Report findings to Marketing Manager (implementation will be split across the team)
  • Planning and implementation of multi-channel marketing activity in conjunction with sales teams, agents and required sales rate. Maintain a detailed media plan on a rolling 3-month basis
  • Liaise with appointed estate agent regarding portal listings, window and office display, advertisement artwork. Analyse and monitor portal stats supplied by agents
  • Analyse marketing activity and monitor web traffic, purchaser data and enquiry levels to help inform future activity and sales messages
  • Tracking of marketing activity spend in line with marketing budget
  • Ensure all marketing efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term business goals, identifying and executing improvements for processes, content, and lead generation
  • Work with Sales and Development teams to ensure timely delivery of assets for coming soon and live sites including:
    • Preliminary Brochures
    • Photography
    • Virtual Tours
    • CGIs
    • Brochures
  • Lead coordination of signage with signage supplier and maximise opportunities for brand and development awareness
  • Responsible for briefing and working with creative agencies and in house Graphic Designer to create impactful development brochures, adverts and other required literature
  • Work with sales teams to maximise potential of new site launches
  • Awareness of local area events, competitors
  • Ensure Acorn Green message is incorporated into marketing material where appropriate
  • Help with idea generation for Acorn Green
  • Work with PR agency to help to generate PR stories and testimonials and contribute to bi-weekly meetings
  • Be aware of any appropriate awards to enter. Put together award entries
  • Liaise with sales teams in terms of any support they need
    • Additional marketing activity
    • Any focus on specific plots
  • Maintain a directory and inventory of sales support materials, ensuring all resources are current and accurate, and coordinate the creation of new materials as needed
  • Visiting development sites as required to attend meetings

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Creative thinker with the ability to produce new ideas and concepts
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise work and manage a diverse workload with tight deadlines
  • A great team player and the ability to be flexible
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of working in WordPress beneficial but not essential
  • Full driving licence and own car essential
  • Previous experience in a similar role required

The successful candidate will contribute to existing marketing strategies while assisting with the development of new initiatives aligned with new projects. The ideal candidate will have prior experience across a wide range of marketing functions including copywriting, communications, advertising, branding and digital marketing.
