Acorn’s step-by-step guide:
Step 1. Select your home
Choose your preferred property, then complete the reservation paperwork and pay your reservation fee.
Step 2. Choose your agent
We’ll work with you to get your house valued by three local agents. Based on these valuations, we will agree on a marketing price with you and the chosen agent/s.
Step 3. Finding a buyer
We will withdraw your chosen new home from the market for a period of 6 weeks while we work closely with the agent/s to find a buyer for your old home. Progress will be monitored and reviewed at the end of the 6-week period and an extension may be granted if deemed appropriate
Step 4. Contract issued
Once a buyer has been secured, we will complete the reservation process by issuing the contract to your solicitor.
Step 5. Ongoing support
We will continue to work with the agent and solicitors to deal with all aspects of your sale and keep you informed and advised.
