Manage all aspect of the technical delivery of new build housing developments in conjunction with the Engineering manager and other departments
Primary responsibilities will include
- To work within the technical function of the business, working on residential projects for our Bristol, Exeter and Cornwall offices
- Reporting to Regional Senior Management Team, specifically the Head of Technical.
- Manage the design process for design and build contracts, and traditional contracts.
- Act as the primary contact for the design teams, supply chain partners with and project stakeholders (internal and external)
- Facilitate design workshops to develop the project in a cost-effective manner whilst retaining design intent
- Manage compliance checks against specification, budget and client requirements.
- Advise on cost effectiveness of alternative methods of construction.
- Co-ordinate the design information supplied to /from our construction division – including the project supply chain.
- Manage design output to agreed programmes.
- Liaise with Local Authorities, Statutory Authorities, Building Control, Building Warranty Providers and Planning Departments.
- Liaise with Utility Providers
