Christmas is coming and there are lots of things to do from shopping for those special presents to enjoying all sorts of festive fun. Here are our highlights from South Wales’ packed calendar of events.

Cardiff’s Christmas Wonderland: 15 November – 6 January
Ice skating, food, drink and a fun fair which includes a 90m tower ride to give you panoramic views over the city.

Victorian Christmas at Aberdulais Falls, Port Talbot: 14 & 21 December
After sunset, take an atmospheric candlelit walk to the falls, make Victorian Christmas decorations and enjoy story time with Mr or Mrs Clause.

Oxford Street Christmas Market, Swansea: 16 November – 20 December
More than 40 craft and food chalets to browse for those special gifts and mouth-watering morsels. Week to week some of the stalls will change so there’s a good reason for repeat visits.

The Nutcracker, Swansea Grand Theatre: 27 November
The Russian State ballet is visiting Swansea for what will no doubt be a breath-taking performance of this Christmas classic accompanied by a live orchestra.
