Meet the Team at Cottrell Gardens

April 15, 2020

We spoke to Sharon & Maddie our Sales Advisors at Cottrell Gardens to find out what makes the development such a great place to live, the best places to visit nearby and how they can help you find your ideal new home.

What do you like about working at Cottrell Gardens?
Watching this development grow and progress and to have the opportunity to see Acorn’s vision of each house type come to life is something truly incredible. But most of all, being able to play such a big part in each customer’s journey to purchasing their new home and to see them happy is both enjoyable and rewarding for me.

What do you most like about the homes being built?
The homes at Cottrell Gardens are extremely modern and built to a high specification, which makes them a pleasure to sell to customers. Through the use of large windows, high ceilings and open plan living spaces throughout, the homes are filled with natural light and as a result feel very spacious and airy.

What’s your favourite home and why?
I would have to say my favourite is one of the 5 bedroom two storey detached houses, plot 58 in particular. This home benefits from a stunning open plan L shape kitchen/diner with an additional family room, the dual aspect of both of these rooms backing out onto the garden makes for a beautiful and bright area. The master bedroom comes equipped with a dressing area as well a sloping ceilings and stunning roof light windows, it’s truly a special room.

Why do you think this is a great place to live?
Cottrell Gardens offers a sense of rural country living whilst still benefiting from great links to the capital city of Cardiff, just a short drive away. Many plots have beautiful views over the Cottrell Park golf course, making this development particularly unique.

Best things to do nearby?
The charming town of Cowbridge is just a few miles away; here you will find amazing places to eat including a selection of restaurants and cafes and bars, as well as stunning boutique shops all really well supported by the local community.

Favourite things to do in Bonvilston or the surrounding areas?
Dyffryn Gardens, just a 10 minute drive away, caters to all. The gardens themselves were voted in the top 100 in the UK by the British Tourist Authority, they also include lovely tea rooms to stop for a bite to eat and drink, as well as a children’s play area – it makes for the perfect family day out.

If someone is interested in purchasing how can you help?
Ordinarily we’d be available on site to help you seven days a week, however due to Covid-19 we have temporarily shut the doors to our Marketing Suite and Show Home. We’re still on hand to help you in your property search, we would be delighted to guide you around a virtual tour of our beautiful Show Home to show you the finish and quality of our homes, we can also talk through the individual house types and floor plans in detail over the phone or on Skype, and we would be more than happy to answer any questions at all that you may have. So please don’t hesitate to call or email us.

Visit our development page here for more information and to browse the available homes at Cottrell Gardens.
