Contemporary Show Apartment now open at St. Leonards Quarter, Exeter

December 15, 2022

A brand-new Marketing Suite and Show Home have been officially opened at St. Leonards Quarter, Exeter.

Our first Exeter based project, the development will see 146 new open market and affordable homes created in an unrivalled Exeter location.

Situated less than a mile outside of the city centre, and in close proximity to the River Exe, St. Leonards Quarter is exceptionally well-placed to access the vibrant hub of Exeter,  and is designed for first time buyers, professionals, families and downsizers.

The first homes released in Phase One are a range of 1-and 2-bedroom apartments, with prices starting from £245,000. The contemporary apartments feature a high-quality specification, open plan living, communal bike storage and private outdoor space. In addition, some apartments will also feature far-reaching views of the Devonian countryside.

Field Sales Manager, Tom Markham, says he has seen a keen interest in the new apartments.

“We’re delighted in the  strong level of interest we’ve received from buyers in the first few weeks since we launched the development – there is real demand here”, he said.

Exeter’s population grew by 11.1% from 2011 to 2021, becoming the fourth highest population growth area in the South West, ahead of cities such as Bristol, Bath and Gloucester.

“The apartments offer modern living in a fast-growing city suitable for a range of buyers.  We have  had great feedback especially on the location, specification and energy efficiency of the new apartments.”

The St. Leonards Quarter apartments are built to an energy efficiency rating of EPC –B, fitted with high-performance triple glazed windows, superior insulation and low energy LED lighting to increase efficiency as well as keeping running costs down.

Ed Lewis, Regional Director of Acorn’s Exeter region said, “We know there is high demand for high-quality housing in Exeter, and to be able to offer these modern homes so close to the hub of the city centre is fantastic.

“We’re delighted to give potential buyers a flavour of what St. Leonards Quarter has to offer with our new Show Home. All our developments are designed to fit the needs of buyers and we believe we have achieved this with the new homes.”

The Show Home, designed by SJP Interiors, is available to view via appointment and is open 10am to 5pm seven days a week.
