Meet the Team at Hope House

October 30, 2019

As part of our regular ‘Meet the Team’ series, we’d like to introduce you to Jonny, our Sales Negotiator at our prestigious Hope House development. Jonny is based in our Marketing Suite which is open daily 10am – 5pm.

What do you like about working at Hope House?
The history behind the building provided a fascinating introduction into the scheme and the surrounding area. Originally built circa 1781, it’s amazing to think about the timeline behind the site and the different uses the Grade II listed building has experienced throughout the years. It is also lovely to work on a scheme that is so beautifully presented and with a passionate team who want to deliver the best possible customer service.

What do you most like about the homes being built?
They are very in keeping with the Bath environment which is very important being a UNESCO site and demonstrates how a new development doesn’t have be completely different in its external finish, but can still provide quality throughout its build. There will also be a concierge service on-site offering peace of mind to the residences and enhancing the community feel amongst the Lansdown surroundings.

What’s your favourite plot and why?
F4 is a stunning apartment within Hope House. Its open plan living space features eight very large sash windows providing triple aspect views over the city skyline of Bath which is rarely something to be rivalled.

Why do you think this is a great place to live?
The close proximity to the centre of town is ideal alongside the choice of scenic walking routes to the city. Another amazing feature is the surrounding woodlands which make you feel truly immersed in the green, open space available at the site – not to mention the tennis court available to residents!

Best things to do nearby?
Just across the road is the Country Living Hotel which is a lovely place to enjoy a refreshing drink on the terrace. If you want to head into town, you can take a stroll down to the centre where the arts scene is thriving. Bath hosts a number of events across the year including theatre, literature and art. Bath is also a great destination for shopping with all your essentials in reach as well as those luxuries.

Favourite things to do in Bath or surrounding areas?
In Bath you can always find something new to discover and explore. You can walk from the centre of town along the canal to Bathampton Mill which is a great pub on the outskirts of the City. If you don’t feel like walking back there is a regular bus service that takes you directly back into the City. I am always keeping an eye out on what’s coming up at The Royal Theatre with touring and new plays continually emerging, there are a great range of genres to enjoy.

If someone is interested in purchasing how can you help?
We endeavour to make the sales process as smooth as possible with recommended solicitors and financial advisors who can offer informed, impartial advice that is individually suited to customers’ needs.
