Meet the team at Hope House

March 15, 2019

As part of our regular ‘Meet the Team’ series, we’d like to introduce you to Ellie, our Sales Negotiator at our marvellous Hope House development. Ellie is based in our Show Apartment which is open Tuesday to Saturday 10am to 5pm.

What do you like about working at Hope House?
It is a truly stunning location. I have the most incredible views overlooking Bath and the countryside beyond. There are also the most breathtaking sunsets that fill the panoramic view. There is a great team of people working on the project and we have some lovely purchasers who I think will make the development a real community.

What do you most like about the homes being built?
We have such a variety of homes here with 1 to 4 bedroom houses and apartments, all of which are very unique as there is no standard house type. I really like how individual all the homes are yet while still, all finished to the same remarkable specification. It gives a great, luxurious feel to all the homes.

What’s your favourite plot and why?
I would say I have a favourite in each part of the development so it really depends on the parameters to pick a favourite! There are some brilliant 1 bedroom apartments in Hope Place with great views and vaulted ceilings. I especially like B16 with its long living space facing south with great views. I like a lot of the 2-3 bedroom apartments in Hope Place too. There is a fantastic home with a cinema room and west facing terrace (C2), which has great space.

Why do you think this is a great place to live?
I think there will be a great community here. There are 6 acres of stunning parkland and a tennis court, which I think residents will definitely make the most of. Hope House is also a short walk from the centre of Bath which has so much to offer, right on the doorstep.

Best things to do nearby?
There are so many beautiful walks where you can enjoy the countryside or the UNESCO World Heritage site that is Bath city, with its incredible architecture. There are also comedy walks, history walks and the skyline walk. Other than walks, there are fantastic pubs like the Hare & Hounds and Chequers which offers incredible food. Bath is spoilt for choice when it comes to great restaurants. There is also the theatre, museums, literary festivals, Bath rugby and so much more going on all of the time within the area.

Favourite things to do in Bath or surrounding areas?
I enjoy going out to eat and afternoon tea, so one of my favourite restaurants is Corkage, with delicious food and great wine. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. A really lovely café to go to is the Good Day café, they have great food and coffee (I particularly love a matcha latte!) and they love to welcome dogs as well, so I was able to take my 4-month-old puppy to meet a friend. There is of course also the Bath rugby which is great fun on match days as the town is electric with excitement. I also love a spa day and there are some fantastic places in the area to choose from.

If someone is interested in purchasing how can you help?
I would be delighted to talk them through the properties that we have available here and share as much information as I can to help find the ideal property, whether that is for homes owners, first-time buyers or people looking to invest. I can show them around our stunning Show Apartment in the converted Grade-II listed Hope House building, to showcase the finishes. Once we have narrowed down the options we can then book in a site visit to view a couple of the selected properties. Once the perfect property has been selected we can go ahead and secure that property for the purchaser.
