Remember; remember the 5th of November, here’s your guide to the best firework displays and bonfire parties across the South, South West and South Wales.
South
1-3 November Longleat’s Fantastic Fireworks
Set to an exciting soundtrack, Longleat has three nights of fireworks. The displays are included as part of your park ticket so enjoy a safari drive or visit to the house and grounds followed by a spectacular fireworks display,
3 November, Rotary Fireworks, Salisbury
Salisbury and Wilton Rotary clubs are combining forces for spectacular fireworks display that promises to be one of the biggest in the area. There will be food and drink stalls and all monies raised go to charity.
3 November – Bournemouth Fireworks, Littledown Centre
Not one, not two but three firework displays to enjoy alongside fairground rides, food stalls, entertainment and a variety of indoor activities for children.
5 November – Fireworks and Bonfire Night, Poole, Dorset
There will be a party atmosphere down at Poole Quay with live music, jugglers, fire performers, children’s rides and more plus a bonfire and spectacular free fireworks display over the water.
Bristol/Somerset
5 November – Fireworks to Music, Avon Valley Adventure Park
A stunning firework display set to music with a fun fair, sparkler park and charity fire walking. Tickets tend to sell out so book up in advance.
10 November – Firework Fiesta, Canford Park, Bristol
This charity event has food and refreshment stalls and an ‘ambling band’ to keep you entertained before the main fireworks begin.
3 November – Bath Rotary Fireworks
Held on the Rec in the heart of Bath, explore the food and drink stalls before watching the spectacular display light up the city. All money raised goes to Rotary Club charities and tickets are limited.
Devon
3 November – Double Locks Bonfire and Fireworks Night, Exeter
Promising to be the biggest bonfire around, there is also a fireworks display, mulled wine and cider and a BBQ at this canal side pub near Exeter.
5 November – Exeter Round Table Charity Fireworks
Held at Westpoint this is the largest firework display in Devon, with music, fairground rides, food and drink and all proceeds go to local charities.
5 November – Ottery St Mary Tar Barrels
For something a bit different this Bonfire Night head to Ottery St Mary to see the centuries-old tradition of flaming tar barrels being carried through the town.
Cornwall
27 October – Heron Riverside Fireworks, Malpas
There is a Halloween theme to this year’s waterside display at the Heron Inn, held earlier due to the time of the tide. Enjoy a hog roast and mulled cider while watching the fireworks.
4 November – Watergate Bay Fireworks, Newquay
This charity event hosted by Wax will see fireworks light up the sky over Watergate Bay while at ground level there will be BMX displays, raffles, food and drink stalls. Come armed with spare change for the charity buckets.
5 November – Porthminster Beach fireworks
Music, BBQ, licensed bar and fireworks overlooking the beach at Porthminster, St Ives.
South Wales
3 November – Sparks in the Park, Bute Park, Cardiff
One of the largest firework displays in the UK with a beast of a bonfire, fairground rides, live DJ sets plus food and drink. A children’s display with noise sensitive effects will precede the main display.
3 November – Fireworks at Hi-Tide Inn Porthcawl
Munch on hot dogs and burgers while enjoying the annual display overlooking the beach.

5 November – Swansea Fireworks, St Helen’s ground
The biggest display in the city sees Swansea Bay light up with fireworks. And there is plenty of entertainment at ground level too with live music and a special story time session for children.
