Last week, Christina and Mette from our London team, switched up their regular 9-5 routine and travelled all the way to Rwanda with ActionAid to help build much-needed classrooms in what’s currently an overcrowded school.
Despite poor wi-fi and a busy schedule, Christina and Mette have already shared some fantastic insight into their trip so far and we are all extremely proud of what they’ve achieved.
From mixing cement to carrying heavy rocks for flooring and carrying bricks for bricklaying, they’ve got stuck right in, making some great memories and friends along the way. They also worked on a garden for the school, which will enable the children to grow fresh fruit and vegetables. This involved lots of digging, cutting down trees to build trenches and fencing.
We look forward to giving them a warm welcome home this week and hearing more about the work they have done for the very important cause that is ActionAid.

For now, have a look at some of the wonderful pictures from their trip so far.
