Exciting return to the Newquay coastline for Acorn Blue

December 17, 2019

Continuing over ten years of regeneration of the Newquay coastline, we are delighted to be again embarking on a prominent new residential-led mixed-use project.

Our Cornwall office, Acorn Blue will be developing the long redundant former Fistral Bay Hotel in Pentire, Newquay. Derelict for many years, the site which already has planning approval will be developed for both residential and commercial use. When complete, the scheme will offer far-reaching sea views over Fistral Bay and Newquay golf course.

Working with landowner Queensbridge Homes Ltd, we will imminently be applying for some minor revisions to the existing planning permission which includes external design improvements and a reduction in unit numbers.

We anticipate that demolition of the existing building will start in spring 2020 with the construction of the new build following immediately thereafter.
